I should mention that I have the non-charging version of this holder and I was very pleased with that one which, with my newer vehicle, led me to wanting something more. When this product appeared in the search, I gave it a long consideration among the other available products and I'm glad I did!Just like the previous version, this one was very easy to set up and came with everything you needed to get the job done including the wipes to clean the surfaces before applying.The USB cable placement is also great as it doesn't get in the way of the phone AND I can maneuver it around in such a way that the cable goes around the LCD screen in my vehicle's dash. (NOTE: I do wish the USB cable was thinner, but good USB-C cables are usually not flat, and I'm happy that this cable really was made to last even in the cold weather we're having now.)The magnet is strong enough to hold my phone even while driving on very rough, not-well-maintained gravel roads which is SO important to me as I've had holders fail leaving me focused at trying to save my phone rather than driving.The sleek design actually stays out of the way of my phone's camera, too, so that if I'm parked and wanted to use my phone's camera, the base isn't in the way.Between this and the others that were out there to choose from, this one was VERY affordable especially for how well it's constructed. The suction cup grips very well and the mechanism above it twists it just right so that you get the best suction. And the metal arm is stiff enough to where it doesn't move very easily (a plus when driving, but not so easy to move when you're adjusting it for the first time. 😅)This one replaced my Scosche which totally fell apart only after 20 days and cost about twice as much.One more thing: I tested this on my desk at work whereas my desk has a slightly rough textured surface. I didn't need to use the surface mount that it came with and it actually sat great on my desk. This would be great for gamers who need a slim solution on their desk.In a nutshell, I would recommend this product in a heartbeat!
